Nothing. What part of Free don’t you understand? Oh, you mean is it Free Beer? Free Speech? or indeed Frees-a-jolly-good-fellow? Whatever you want – OK so I’m not giving away free beer but I am giving away free software. I have released everything I can under the perl artistic license. In summary that means you can do whatever you want with it as long as you recognise me as the “artist” that created it. You can sell it if you want to but I will also give it away for free. Read the license file for more information.
All of the required libraries and other software can be obtained under free licenses of one sort or another.
What you will need to provide is time to install it and maintain it. Ongoing maintenance will normally be an integral part of a performance or capacity management person’s role anyway.
